Statistics
On the production website, Google Analytics runs through Google Tag Manager after Statistics consent. It measures page visits and successful enquiries and newsletter signups. Our conversion events include form identifiers, not names, email addresses, phone numbers or message content. Analytics remains disabled on staging.
Google Analytics can use _ga and _ga_* cookies, typically for up to two years depending on configuration and browser settings. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Embedded maps
Google Maps on our contact page is blocked until you allow its category, labelled Marketing in the preference panel. Loading it connects your browser to Google, which may process your IP address, browser information and its own cookies. Our written address remains available without loading the map.
Form and email choices
Enquiry consent allows us to use your details to respond to your request; it does not subscribe you to marketing. Newsletter signup requires a separate, unticked opt-in for ComSec news and updates. Withdraw newsletter consent by emailing comsec@comsec.co.tz, or use an unsubscribe link where provided in an update.
Browser controls
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser. Deleting preference storage makes the banner appear again. Blocking essential cookies may affect sign-in or other necessary functions.
